Glenn Prettitore, MSPTOwner, Licensed Physical Therapist, TPI-Certified Medical Professional
With almost 25 years of experience in the areas of orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, and sports physical therapy, I have treated patients of all ages and abilities. Throughout my career, I have treated numerous high-level and professional athletes and have assisted in NFL combine training programs through on-field injury assessments, injury screenings, rehabilitation and injury prevention programs. In 2010, I founded The Rebound Group in order to provide more specialized, one-on-one care for my clients through home-based physical therapy.

My passion for helping active people and my love of golf led me to create the Golf Fitness and Performance segment of our company. I am a certified Titleist Performance Institute medical professional, which allows me to bring my extensive sports rehabilitation knowledge and experience into the world of golf and offer another service to my active clients.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)

TPI is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.

Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional Tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

TPI’s mission is to educate golfers and industry professionals on the Body-Swing Connection™ through its one of a kind ‘TPI Certified’ educational program. This program was developed by founders Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips along with a 52 member advisory staff of industry leading experts.

Our TPI Certification

Since the late 1990s, the game of golf has seen a seismic shift in how players at the highest level prepare and maintain their bodies for competition. Players are more powerful, more athletic and better equipped at an earlier age to perform at the highest levels while older players are extending their careers at incredibly high performance levels.

The game has reached a point where its participants do not need convincing that better fitness, biomechanics and health will improve their chances of playing their best. Today’s golfers deserve instructors are up to date with the latest information on the sport. They want to trust their coach, instructor or practitioner. TPI Certification gives golfers that trust!

Our TPI Medical Certification allows us to utilize our golf-specific injury assessment and rehabilitation techniques to not only get players back in the game, but take them to the next level of performance.

TPI has spent almost two decades studying one thing – the Body-Swing Connection™. There are injuries associated with the golf swing that few understand better than TPI. Medical Certification looks at how these golf injuries develop, how to access and treat injuries and how specific physical limitations can be addressed to improve performance.
